‍‍livery design

Transforming a 997 Porsche 911 into a safari-style rally icon was an exciting challenge that called for a bold and evocative design. Inspired by the legendary 1984 Porsche 953 Dakar Rally car, I developed a modernized Rothmans-style livery to capture the spirit of adventure and performance while updating it for a contemporary audience.

The design retains the iconic blue, white, and gold color scheme, with subtle modern touches to harmonize with the 997’s sleek lines and updated modifications. The livery pays homage to Porsche’s rally heritage while embodying a fresh, dynamic aesthetic suited for this one-of-a-kind vehicle. The talented team at The SignLab brought the design to life with precision, ensuring a flawless application that matched the car's rugged yet refined transformation.

The result is a head-turning safari-style 911 that seamlessly merges classic rally nostalgia with modern design sensibilities, making it a standout on the road and off.
