illustration projects

Detailed illustration of a modern tiny home, showcasing architectural features and compact design aesthetics.

Alongside larger brand and web projects, I regularly take on bespoke illustration work that lets me explore character design, storytelling, and niche cultures in a fun and expressive way. These one-off projects span a variety of formats and styles, all rooted in bold concepts and custom artwork.

Custom Porsche GT3 RS illustration inspired by a client's drift car livery, showcasing a bold, motorsport-inspired design."Pockets Ain’t Empty" T-shirt illustration inspired by 70s and 80s Japanese car culture, featuring a Popeye-style character holding a classic 3-piece Japanese wheel.

Highlights include a detailed tiny home illustration that helped a client visualize and promote a new small-space living concept, and a bespoke Porsche GT3RS illustration that paid homage to a client’s custom drift car livery I’d previously designed.

I’ve also illustrated several T-shirt graphics, including a Popeye-inspired character clutching a classic Japanese 3-piece wheel—celebrating '70s and '80s Japanese car culture with a nostalgic, cartoon flair.

Illustrated T-shirt design for Christchurch-based basketball team, featuring a cartoon basketball character spinning a beer bottle like a basketball."Fire Marshall" T-shirt illustration designed in a traditional tattoo style, featuring bold flames, a vintage fire truck, and a fire extinguisher.

Other projects include a traditional tattoo-style fire marshal T-shirt design and Bricklayers, a playful graphic for a local social basketball team featuring a cartoon basketball character and bold, energetic typography. These pieces reflect a love for character-driven storytelling, subcultural aesthetics, and visually rich details.
